This is a beautiful well known San Diego location for biking, hiking, and sightseeing. Amazing views of the ocean and coastline from the top of the trail.
You will see the famous Torrey Pine tree throughout your hike. They are along the path and over looking the ocean make for some amazing sunset silhouettes and views.
A couple words of advise, this is a state beach and park so Parking cost $10 or you can try and find street parking. If you have a State Park parking pass you can park for free.
The first part of the walk up is on a paved road, watch out for bikes. Once you reach the top you can venture into the trail system which all lead to the same vistas and outlooks. If you continue down the paths it will take down the the beach where you can walk back up sand to the street parking.
