I have put together this list of ideas for your next family photography session.
You my think it's hard to compose and arrange a family for photos. You don't want to be boring and static. Keep it fresh and fun. For one thing you are not working with professional models, they are not going to walk the runway turn and pose for you, they are your friends families and clients. Just people, often shy or even embarrassed during a photo shoot.
Keep it simple, natural looking
Doing everyday things like walking together helps keep the little ones in line and again natural looking.
Adding silly props can be a ice breaker or just a way to make your images unique.
A little PDA can make a boring pose come to life.
When you have a real little one, you may end up holding and lovin on them more than looking at the camera.
When all else fails, just tell them to do what a real family does.
Act natural.
